Editorial Process and Direction: The King Saud University together with Saudi Chemical Society, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia plays a central role in the editorial direction of the journal “Arabian Journal of Chemistry”. Specifically:

Editorial Board Appointment: The King Saud University together with Saudi Chemical Society, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia appoints the Editor-in-Chief and oversees the composition of the editorial board.
Editorial Policy and Scope: The aims and scope of the journal are determined by the King Saud University together with Saudi Chemical Society, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in consultation with the editorial board to ensure alignment with the Association’s mission and the needs for the community.
Peer Review Process and Final Decisions: The Editor-in-Chief, who is appointed by and reports to the King Saud University together with Saudi Chemical Society, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia manages the peer review process, makes final decisions on manuscripts, and ensures editorial independence and scientific integrity.

The Arabian Journal of Chemistry is an open access, English language, peer-reviewed scholarly publication in the area of chemistry. The Arabian Journal of Chemistry publishes original papers and reviews, but not limited to: inorganic, physical, organic, analytical, medicinal chemistry and biochemistry. The Arabian Journal of Chemistry is issued by the Arab Union of Chemists and is published by King Saud University together with Saudi Chemical Society and is edited by an international group of eminent researchers.

Our audience includes researchers from the field of Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Biochemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Materials Chemistry, Bioinorganic Chemistry, Photochemistry, Solid State chemistry, Organometallic Chemistry and Green Chemistry.

AJC has a highly rigorous peer-review process that makes sure that manuscripts are scientifically accurate, relevant, novel and important. Authors disclose all conflicts, affiliations and financial associations such that the published content is not biased.

The Arabian Journal of Chemistry is committed to meeting and upholding the standards of ethical behavior at all stages of the publication process. Plagiarism Policy

The journal uses plagiarism check software (iThenticate) on the Editor’s and Reviewer’s panel in the manuscript management system which is used to check and control Plagiarism for each article. Any manuscript, that is found to have plagiarism is rejected.

Archival Policy

We use PORTICO for our third-party repository for all articles published with us. All our articles are assigned a DOI number. We are members of https://crossref.org

Ahead of Print Policy

Articles published online under the Ahead of Print model are considered published and can be cited and quoted using the DOI as the reference source. Arabian Journal of Chemistry has a policy that changes will not be made after the publication of an article without following accepted procedures for making corrections to the scientific record.
